Karastan first recommendation is that customers buy pads to put under their rugs. The pads will stop Karastan rugs from slipping, which can wear out the rugs too quickly.

Secondly Karastan recommends that customers move their rugs to another spot in the house after six months. Over time continuous traffic and sunlight on the same spots will fade rug colors or cause the rugs to wear unevenly. Regular rotation can prevent these problems.
